De-Solv-it is an industrial strength citrus based solvent which is ideal for removing gel & grease from Fibre Optic jelly filled cables. It is a safe alternative to dangerous flammable and toxic solvents such as alcohol, kerosene & acetone.
It will completely dissolve and remove all gels and jelly moisture blocking substances from fibre optic cables in less time and without the problems involved with other petroleum based solvents.
De-Solv-it can be applied directly to cable via pump spray, then wiped clean using TeriWipes (or similar), or in large cable applications the cable can be immersed completely in a container with the solution to give complete coverage and reduce wipe down.
