FOS Returns Policy

Fibre Optic Systems (FOS) will refund, repair or replace product where:

  1. The product is faulty and still under manufacturer’s warranty or is not of acceptable quality, or
  2. The product is not fit for its intended purpose as recommended by FOS, or
  3. The product does not match the sample or our description; and
  4. You can present your tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase.

FOS may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. FOS reserves the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the fault is a result of misuse or neglect.

Fibre Optic Systems will accept returns only on products issued with an RMA (Return Material Authority), contact FOS on 03 9757 3000 to obtain an RMA to include with your returned goods.

Note:

FOS will pay for the transportation of the goods only if the product is found faulty and not misused by the consumer.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure within warranty period. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Warranty excludes the wear and tear of the product with age and usage.

FOS reserves the right to:

Assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. We will also assess whether the damage is as a result of misuse.

This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.

Your original tax invoice is the best form of proof of purchase.

Refunds will be issued using your original payment method.
